Beer & Cider on Now
Here you will find the beers that are currently on at the pub. Plus (just for you) the tasting notes!
Harvey's - Best Bitter 4.0% (Sussex)
A superbly balanced session bitter, with a prominent hop character. Champion best bitter of Britain CAMRA 05/06. This is our stock bitter!
Dark Star - American Pale Ale 4.7% (Sussex)
The yeast strain used, along with the Cascade and Centennial, is specially imported from the USA. The low coloured Maris Otter malt provides a light colour and dryness. A crisp taste and full hop aroma.
Old Dairy - Silver Top 4.5% (Kent)
A cream stout with a rich fruity smell and a smooth taste. A sweet toffee body carries notes of liquorice balanced by the bitterness of plain chocolate and a hint of coffee.
Gadd's - East Kent India Pale Ale 6.5% (Kent)
Brewed to showcase the specially harvested local hops from Humphrey's farm. Pale malt to the back, juicy, citrus hops to the fore. Kent's very finest.
Arkwright's - Trouble At' Mill 4.1% (Lancashire)
Prospect - Gold Rush 4.5% (Lancashire)
A deep golden ale with a hoppy and bitter flavour; light, fruity notes and a grassy, floral finish.
Oakleaf - I Can't Believe It's Not Bitter 4.9% (Hampshire)
Cask conditioned lager. Clean and crisp with a fruity aftertaste. The use of Saaz hops gives this lager a citrus finish that lingers on.
